My Asian Girlfriend loves it when I pull my eyes back to look like her. She knows unlike a lot of Asians, it me wanting to be like her. I admire Asians and I have a desire to be like one. Too bad most think that pulling the eyes back is making fun of them. Maybe if more of you think like my girlfriend then Racism would be a thing of the past. You see if you take it as a compliment then any actual racist would eventually stop doing it because it wouldn’t have the desired effect of making you hate or be embarrassed by your heritage, race, or who you are, but instead be proud and acknowlege that poeple want ot be and look like you because you are smart beautiful, and intelligent people. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Must Know: David Bromstad

If you have never watched a single second of HGTV, this man will have you change your DVR settings (Color Splash is the name of his show).

David Bromstad is not only hot (!!!) but a very talented artist and interior designer. For every room he designs, he creates a one of a kind Bromstad piece, a painting, an installation, you name it, that goes with it. I wouldn't mind owning a piece of David, ... one of his artworks, that is.

David Reed Bromstad (born August 17, 1973) is the winner of season one of HGTV Design Star. He is the host the television show Color Splash with David Bromstad, which debuted Monday, March 19, 2007, on HGTV.

Bromstad was born in Cokato, Minnesota. He was always interested in art and design, and while in high school made a decision to pursue a career as a Disney animator. That sent him to Orlando, Florida and the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. The school is known as a starting point for careers with Disney. He accomplished his goal, becoming a Disney illustrator after graduating. This dream was derailed in a post-9/11 layoff. At that point Bromstad started his own company, Bromstad Studio ^[1], designing fantasy bedrooms for children to make ends meet.

That show, Color Splash, just completed the first 13 episode season. In "Color Splash" episode 23, Bromstad remarked that HGTV has now opted for a second set of 26 new episodes of the show.

Tyra Banks in honored this year by Glaad with the Excellence in Media Award.

Tyra must have done something right to promote a healthy and close to the truth image of the LGTB community, but was was it that she did so well? Is having a transsexual contestant on American Next Top Model enough? is having Miss and 'Mister' Jay on her team enough? is speaking openly for the civil right of same sex marriage enough?

And if all this wasn't enough, she should have won the Award just for the gay-fierce photo that opens this post ;-)

Jennifer Hudson's performance last night at the Super Bowl doesn't need words. See for yourself.




In her first performance since her family murder tragedy, Jennifer Hudson showed off her tremendous voice as she sang the National Anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa.

Dressed in a cropped jacket, skinny pants, a white top and gold jewelry, Hudson, 27, stepped onto a round dais at Raymond James Stadium for her pre-game performance.

Hudson took a deep breath and surveyed the field before launching into her rendition of the National Anthem. She ended the song with her head tossed back and a clenched fist raised to deafening applause. (Watch a YouTube clip of her performance.)
